Fluidmaster Factory 

The new Fluidmaster factory is situated in the Industrial Zone in Prestranek, on the degraded area of the former JAVOR factory, between the railway and the main statal road Postojna - Pivka. The project is a result of six years of real estate design, a successful design development with planning, and collaboration with an American client, who deals with the production and storage of plastic products. The project consists of an industrial complex of larger dimensions (approximately 397 ft x 371 ft), and occupies mostly a single-story production and storage area, with spaces for workers and administration offices spread over three floors, nearby. The structure of the building is prefabricated, reinforced concrete, with a flat roof and a facade made of thermally insulated sandwich panels. Due to the natural slope of the terrain, the exterior landscaping is challenging and is planned with separate entrances for access to the employee parking lot, or with access roads for freight vehicles to the logistics handling areas. Before the construction of the factory, the Municipality Detailed Spatial Plan of the Municipality of Postojna (OPPN) was prepared and provided.
